Lia Caton is an award winning performer, Singer, songwriter, and composer with Country, Americana,  blues and rock influences. Her mission is to let people know they’re not alone in the world and to bring healing, inspiration and joy through her music.

Lia's hopes are that her music touches someone’s soul to ignite a feeling, emotion, memory or dream.

Lia Caton is an award-winning recording artist, singer, songwriter, and composer based in Chicago and Nashville, whose music blends Country, Americana, blues, and rock with soulful, emotionally resonant storytelling. Often described as a little bit country and a little rock and roll with soul, Lia’s work centers on connection, resilience, and the belief that music can heal, inspire, and remind people they are not alone.

Lia is a 2023 Josie Music Award winner for Country Album of the Year and a 2022 Josie Music Award winner for Vocalist of the Year (Multi-Genre), with both ceremonies held at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. She has also been recognized by Glancer Magazine as one of the “Most Fascinating Faces”, and her music has been featured on national platforms including The Country Network, where her single “Hell or High Water” received over 73,000 views.

Inspired by the sultry vocal tones of Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt, and Wynonna Judd, Lia’s signature sound is raw, intimate, and deeply personal. Her albums Spare Some Time (2020) and Someone Like You (2022) showcase her ability to weave vulnerability and strength into cinematic, heartfelt songs that explore human experience, emotional truth, and the power of empathy.

Her album Someone Like You was co-written with Benji Harris and produced by Sean Giovanni of The Record Shop Nashville (John Legend, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich), and features standout tracks including “Trouble,” “Hell or High Water,” and the title track “Someone Like You.” Her debut album Spare Some Time emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic as a project rooted in kindness, homelessness awareness, and social connection.

In 2025, Lia returned to the studio with Grammy-winning songwriter and member of the iconic band Chicago, Bill Champlin, and acclaimed singer-songwriter Tamara Champlin to co-write and record her latest single, “A Lot of That Lately.” The song marks a powerful chapter of rediscovery for Lia, reflecting on life’s turning points, aging with grace, and choosing renewal after personal challenges.

“Writing this song with Bill and Tamara became a turning point for me,” Lia explains. “It helped me rediscover my voice and choose to move forward. Together, we created something that blends reflection with hope — a song that honors where you’ve been while inspiring you to keep going.”

At its core, “A Lot of That Lately” explores themes of reclaiming joy, rediscovering purpose, and stepping boldly into what’s next — a reminder that passion and perseverance matter at every stage of life.

Beyond the stage, Lia is deeply committed to advocacy and philanthropy, championing causes related to homelessness, children’s welfare, and animal rescue. Much of her music is inspired by her own life experiences, including childhood adversity, and her belief that storytelling can create real-world impact.

In addition to her music career, Lia is also the founder of ROAM Real Estate Inc., a Chicago-based boutique brokerage specializing in commercial and luxury residential real estate. Her dual life as both artist and entrepreneur informs her creative voice — grounding her work in lived experience, emotional depth, and a genuine understanding of how people build, lose, and rebuild their lives.

Whether through song, performance, or storytelling, Lia Caton’s mission remains constant:
to create meaningful experiences that heal, inspire, and remind people that they are seen, heard, and never alone.
